Can anyone imagine world history without religion? No, because religion is one of the basic and most primitive instincts of man. For many a modern man it is not so sharp anymore, its edge having dulled with the passage of time like so many other primitive instincts, yet for others it is still a living reality of everyday life. Whatever your attitude to it may be, you cannot deny that no other single factor has had a greater influence on the course of human history. That is why you cannot ignore it, if you want to be able to understand your fellow human beings and co-exist with them in peace and harmony!
